OPENING HOURS  

 The surgery is open from:
8.30am - 1pm   &
2.00- 6pm    Mon-Friday.
Please telephone during these hours for an appointment.  The doctors will normally be available to speak to patients between 11.30-12pm

Out of hours emergenciesare covered by a co-operative of doctors (Camdoc). Out of hours please ‘phone (01223) 464242. If you need immediate medical help, phone 999.

Disabled Access
We have wheelchair access at the surgery. We also have a hearing loop. Please speak to the receptionist if you need help.

pillsRepeat prescriptions should be requested no less than 48 hours in advance by

  • telephoning the dispensary on (01223) 871588
  • online via the form below
  • by fax on 01223 872741
  • forwarding the repeat slip to the dispensary via the village box system which operates on Monday and Thursday in the following villages: Hauxton, Thriplow, Fowlmere, Foxton, Barrington, Haslingfield & Fowlmere. (If you pay for your prescriptions please send the correct money with the request.) Repeat prescriptions take 48 hours to process.

Dispensary patients can obtain their medicines directly from the surgery. We follow good prescribing practice and usually prescribe medication on a monthly basis. If you are entitled to free prescriptions please show appropriate evidence to our dispensary staff. If you pay for prescriptions and need regular medication it may be most cost effective to purchase a 'pre-payment certificate' (PPC). People who have to pay for more than 3 prescription items in 3 months, or 14 items in 12 months, could save money by buying a PPC.
